Robert Alan Kobbe

Robert Alan Kobbe, affectionately known as Rob to his family and friends, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by family in Catawissa on February 25, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on November 16, 1962 in Bloomsburg, to the late Delos and Betty Kobbe (Karnes). Rob was a man whose life was marked by dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

Rob was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School, and started his career working at Catawissa Lumber with his Dad, Delos, where he established the foundation of what would become a life characterized by hard work and integrity. The rest of his professional career was largely spent at Trivium Packaging, where he excelled as a quality manager.

Outside of his professional life, Rob was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting. He found solace and joy in nature, and he often shared this passion with his closest friends and family. Rob was equally dedicated to maintaining his home and could frequently be found tending to his yard and refilling his bird and squirrel feeders, ensuring that it was a place of beauty and tranquility for his family and local wildlife.

Above all, Rob was a family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary A. Kobbe (Mrowka) and two daughters, Audra M. Saweikis and her husband, Paul, of Catawissa, and Krista L. Eppinette,  and her husband, Mark, of Catawissa, who were the lights of his life. Rob was also a doting grandfather to his two grandchildren, Gabriel and Ezekiel, whose lives will be forever shaped by his loving presence and the precious memories they shared.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Ralph, and nephew, Jason.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at 11:00 am at Numidia Valley Bible Fellowship, 42 Ringtown Mt. Road, Catawissa, PA, 17820, with Pastor Chris Dunlap officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
