Destiny Hope Duncan

Destiny Hope Duncan, 30 of Catawissa passed away peacefully December 9, 2025, in her childhood home. Destiny was born July 16, 1995, with her twin Brittany Britton.

She was a 2014 graduate of Southern Columbia. Destiny worked at Vintage Knolls in Danville, caring for her very loved residents. She was very passionate about taking care of her residents and making sure they were well loved. Destiny was a strong independent woman who loved her family fiercely. She was the best Auntie and loved her nieces and nephews more than anything.

Destiny is survived by her father Eric Duncan and mother Crystal Duncan, her twin sister Brittany Britton and Walter Britton their daughters Ana and Emili, Cecelia Duncan and Matthew Sheriff, Kamee and Ryan Hopta their sons Jaxon and Grayson, Lauren Duncan and Taylor Bryson and their daughter Aurora Bryson, grandfather Bill and grandmother Kay Duncan, grandmother Barbara Shingara.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather John Shingara and uncle John Shingara.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday December 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa with Pastor Greg Clendaniel officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
